Late Easter Update

We spent General Conference weekend at my parents house. It was great to see Aunt Deb and my cousin Troy who were visiting from California. I didn't get too many pictures, but one thing we did while we were there was decorate Easter Sugar cookies!



When we got home, Marc helped me to frost the leftover cookies. That explains why we ended up with a plate of cookies that had the names of UNC's starting 5. I loved it, I think I will make him decorate all cakes in the future!



On Easter weekend, we were able to go to Kuna and spend it with Marc's family. I had never been there for Easter and it was fun to be a part of their family tradition of hiding hats instead of baskets. I had heard about Terry's great hiding abilities, but I had no idea. Marc's candy was wrapped in duct tape and his hat was shoved down the vacuum hose. It took Marc a little over an hour to find it, but it took Terry over an hour to get the hat to fit down the tube.



Makayla's hat was taped behind the star on top of the ledge, which was Nancy's idea. They are a great hiding team, I was very impressed. Mine was hidden in a vase in the dining room. They said they were easy on me, but I still had to have Makayla and Marc find it for me. I wasn't used to such good hiding.

Happy Birthday Makayla!

My cute sister-in-law Makayla turns 17 today! (sorry the picture is a little outdated) Makayla is the best sister-in-law and is such a wonderful person. She is so kind to everyone and is always happy. She has a great sense of humor and always does what is right. We love you Makayla, and hope you have a wonderful day. Don't party too hard without us (wait until this weekend)!

Happy Birthday Halle/ We love UNC!

This weekend we were able to watch conference with my family, see Grandpa Kimball, and celebrate Halle's 2nd Birthday. Halle turns 2 today and is the cutest 2 year old around. She has such a cute little personality for such a young age, I could be entertained by her all day. We love you Halle!

When we were all home this weekend, somehow Halle managed to sneak into Nana's makeup. Although she looks to beautiful with all the makeup, I think she was a little sad to get caught.

Angie made Halle this cute Barbie cake, this is Halle (with a little help) blowing out her candles.

Also last night we were able to have a great anniversary by watching the Tarheels kill the Spartans - This was the end result!

Barnes and Noble and Archie

A few months ago I was invited by my little sister (who is crazy about David Archuleta) to go to his concert with her in Idaho Falls. So a few weeks ago, Angie, Whitney, and I , (along with every teen girl in Idaho Falls) went to the concert. I liked it better than I thought I would. He has a great voice, and I still don't understand how he didn't beat David Cook.

Whit and I waiting in line for the concert, we waited for almost 3 hours!

Also last Saturday, the PTO organized a day at Barnes and Noble for our school. A few students from my class came and presented a book that we published as a class. The title is "Everyday Heroes" and they each took a turn reading their part out of the book. They actually gathered quite the crowd. They did a great job, I was very proud!
